About the Maker Hello, I'm Ann, the heart and hands behind Ann Gaylord Bags. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Cebu, Philippines, I embarked on a remarkable journey that led me to the creative world of handbags. In 1995, I set foot in Stuttgart, Germany, and in 1998, I found myself in the eclectic streets of New York City. Despite laying down new roots halfway around the world, I never lost touch with my Filipino heritage. The rich tradition of handwoven products has always been a reminder of home and the artistry that flows through my veins. With a decade of experience in the bag industry, the natural progression was to create my own line. Ann Gaylord Bags is the manifestation of all the things I love. It's the culmination of my deep-rooted connection to Filipino handwoven bags, a passion for mixing and matching colors, and a burning desire to support the weaving industry in the Philippines. I invite you to share in this experience. By choosing our bags, you're not just adding a stylish accessory to your collection; you're supporting the weaving communities in the Philippines, preserving a beautiful tradition, and carrying a piece of my journey with you.. With love and gratitude,
